Historic J is proud to reintroduce our signature event, Bayline. First held in 2012, Bayline set the record for the largest collection of classic Skylines in North America along with bringing together more than 200 Japanese classics and thousands of enthusiasts in the picturesque setting of the San Leandro Marina on the Bay. From a swap meet to food trucks and good music, Bayline gathered like-minded, passionate people for a day of fun and Japanese classic cars.
This year we are moving Bayline to Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland. On looking the San Francisco skyline, this spacious park is set right on the water with cool weather and plenty of amenities. Food trucks, music, vendors, and plenty of Japanese classic cars will be present for your enjoyment. Admission is free for spectators so even if your project car isn’t finished, please come on down and enjoy a day with Northern California’s Japanese classic car community! Hope to see you there!
Historic J / HJCG - 2014 Rules and Regulations
Event staff reserves the right to change or modify the rules noted below to enhance the event.

Registration
Please print your receipt and have it ready to handover to the event staff prior to roll-in.
There are no refunds on registration fees. Anyone who has purchased a spot can transfer the spot to someone else BUT must contact us via email ([email protected]) prior to making any changes. Reserved spots without prior authorization of Historic J will not be honored the day of the event.
Roll-in Guidelines
The car show officially starts 10:00am Ausgust 2, 2014. Roll-in time starts 7:30am the last car will be accepted 10:00am. Please be on time.
If you are wanting to park with your car club, make sure the entire team drives into the designated show area at the same time. If you roll-in together, you will be parked together. (space permitting).
All work on vehicle, cleaning and dusting of your vehicle must be completed 15 minutes before the show opens for business. The show opens at 10 AM!
Event Etiquette
The last event was great as everyone was very respectful. We would like everyone to keep it the same. Please follow these rules.
1 No engine revving (save that for our autocross event)
2 No burnouts or exhibition of speed
3 No reckless or careless driving
4 No alcohol allowed at the event.
5 Medical dogs are allowed but you must have your pet on a leash at all times and under control.
Anyone not following these rules will be asked to leave no questions asked. Please don’t ruin it for everyone. Again we had a great crowd of people last event let’s keep this event classy and respectful.
End of show
The event officially ends 4:00pm. Starting the engine, moving/operating the vehicle in the crowded environment will be a safety hazard to our guest and not permitted. If you insist on leaving during the show due to emergency reasons, please visit the Historic J booth and staff members will escort your car through the crowds. At the end of the event all vehicles will be asked to move by GROUP in each parking zone.
Open to the public 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (tentative, subject to change). Spectators will be free and open between 10am to 4:00pm. Your leaving time could be as late as 4:30pm.
We reserve the right to refuse service and/or entrance to individuals we deem inappropriate.
Any participants/exhibitors who fail to follow the written rules and regulations or verbal instruction from the event staff/volunteers is subject to disqualification and removal from the event. This also includes un-sportsman like behavior, excessive profanity, sexually explicit, violent, unethical, and intoxicated, under the influence, questionable character or anything else deemed inappropriate by the event staff.
San Leandro Marina shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss of property. By registering to this event the event, the said participant agrees to adhere to the above Car Show Rules and Regulations.
